The information Desert Brilliance collects.
When you use the Site, Desert Brilliance receives and collects information. The information that we receive and collect depends on what you do while you are visiting the Site.
Personal Information.
You are not required to provide Desert Brilliance with Personal Information to access and browse this web Site. “Personal Information” includes your name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, credit card information, e-mail address, or other information that can be used to identify or contact you. Information Collected Using Pixel Tags, Clear GIFs and Web Beacons.
Pixel Tags or Clear GIFs, also known as Web Beacons or Web Bugs, are transparent graphical images placed on a website. Desert Brilliance does not currently use them on the Site.
Information You Actively Submit to Desert Brilliance.
As noted above, for most of the browsing services on this Site, Desert Brilliance neither requires nor collects Personal Information. You can browse the Desert Brilliance Site and take as much time as you want to review our services without having to submit such Personal Information.
In the following instances, however, you will be required to submit Personal Information through the Site:
(i) To purchase items that are offered for sale on the Site;
(ii) To submit a custom order request;
(iii) To submit a proposal story for posting on the Site.
How We Use and Share Personal Information
When you request certain services or information from Desert Brilliance, and you actively submit your Personal Information, we will use that information in one or more of the following ways:

When you purchase jewelry through the Site, we may disclose Personal Information contained in your order to your credit card company to confirm your identity and to avoid the fraudulent use of your credit card information. We may also submit Personal Information to third party identity verification services.
b. Personal Information may be disclosed to an attorney or collection agency representing Desert Brilliance in the collection of past due accounts.
c. Personal Information is subject to disclosure in response to judicial or other governmental subpoenas, warrants and court orders served on Desert Brilliance in accordance with their terms.
d. Personal Information is subject to disclosure to protect our rights or property, to enforce the provisions of our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, and/or to prevent harm to you or others.

Personal Information may be disclosed and transferred if Desert Brilliance or its business is sold or offered for sale to another company or person(s), if a petition for relief under the United States Bankruptcy Laws is filed by or against Desert Brilliance, or if Desert Brilliance becomes subject to an order of appointment of a trustee or receiver.

If you communicate with us via e-mail, we will share your correspondence, including any Personal Information provided in the e-mail, with employees, representatives, or agents most capable of addressing your correspondence. We will retain your communication until we have done our very best to provide you with a complete and satisfactory response and may subsequently retain your communication for our records.

All comments, feedback, suggestions, proposal story submissions, ideas, and other information disclosed, submitted, or offered to Desert Brilliance in connection with your use of the Site (collectively “Comments”) shall be and remain the property of Desert Brilliance. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, you agree that Desert Brilliance may use or disclose Comments in any manner, without restriction and without compensation to you.

We may sent out occasional specials, notices or other information regarding the Site to individuals who have previously provided their email addresses to us, unless you opt out of receiving such emails. Desert Brilliance does not sell its customer e-mail addresses to third parties.

We reserve the right to limit the number of times such a request can be made and to charge you for responding to such requests if this process is misused or abused.

What You Can Do to Protect Your Personal Information
You have several options when deciding how you can best protect your Personal Information on the Internet. One option is simply not to volunteer it. As stated above, this approach would allow you to still visit our Site, but it would prevent you from being able to complete an order through the Site. Personal Information about Children.
The Desert Brilliance web Site is targeted for use by businesses and working adults. We do not market to or create special areas for use by children. We hereby advise all visitors to our Site under the age of 18 not to disclose or provide any personally identifiable information on our Site.
